Farmer's market and classic vehicle show
Our first farmer’s market and classic vehicle show was held at the hall on Sunday 30th. June and was an outstanding success.
The event, organised by Debbie and a small team of volunteers, featured 27 stalls selling a wide range of local produce and craft items together with assorted food and drink, all locally sourced.
More than 60 classic vehicles were displayed on the field, including a bus, lorries large and small, motor cycles and a multitude of cars of all makes and models.
You may be interested to know that the entire, small, team involved with organising and running the event are all volunteers all living in the village. It is a testament to the organising skills of Debbie, who also has a multitude of contacts, together with hard work of the volunteers that the whole event was such a success.
Thanks to Debbie, the ladies who toiled away in the kichen providing bacon rolls and and other food and drinks, Steve who marshalled the vehicles and to the other volunteers who pitched in to help.
Thanks to all involved.
